Back in Action at the Hungaroring

After a long summer break, we’re finally back in action as the Ferrari Challenge Europe heads to the Hungaroring for Round 6 – the penultimate round of the 2026 season. Taking place as part of the Ferrari Racing Days, the weekend promises plenty of action both on and off track, with Ferrari fans expected to gather at the famous 4.5-kilometre circuit, home of the Hungarian Formula 1 Grand Prix.

The packed programme also means that qualifying gets underway on Friday, with the races taking place on Saturday and Sunday.

“It’s great to be back! It’s been a long summer break, so everyone in the team is excited to go racing again. We’re bringing a strong line-up to Hungary, and Ferrari Racing Days always makes for a special weekend with lots of activities and hopefully a big crowd of passionate Ferrari fans. On the sporting side, we’re entering a crucial part of the season. This is the final round before the finale, so every point matters, and we’ll be pushing hard to put ourselves in the strongest possible position,” says Race & Event Executive at Formula, Thor Qualmann.

Six Formula Racing drivers will take on the Hungaroring this weekend. Young Norwegian talent Niklas Abrahamsen returns to Trofeo Pirelli, where he will look to continue his strong form after an impressive Challenge debut with back-to-back second-place finishes at Portimão.

In Coppa Shell, Canadian Eric Cheung is joined by Japan’s Ken Seto, while Denmark’s Henrik Kamstrup lines up alongside Masaru Yoneda (Japan) and Charles Chan (Hong Kong) in Shell Am.
